Well, I am not perfect. Far, far from it.

We — I — added auto-update and an installer to the Skywarn Operators Console. I touted that you'd never have to download a package again, that the program would update itself... until it didn't.

I've been digging into it, and it looks like the update mechanism isn't checking versions correctly, so it either misses updates or hangs partway through instead of finishing cleanly. Not the smooth "set it and forget it" experience I promised you.

For now, if auto-update isn't working for you, grabbing the latest package manually will get you current. I know that's exactly the extra step I said you'd never have to take again, and I get the irony isn't lost on anyone.

Keep an eye out for more versions while we work to get this straightened out. I hope you'll bear with us.
